I SSH into Sabin to do my work, usually from my MacBook Pro laptop - I travel so much for work that I'm out of the office more than I'm in it, so my laptop is my steed.
One of the cool bits of hardware that makes this possible is the MinION, a USB-powered, portable sequencer made by Oxford Nanopore.

Media
I use a lot of imagery in my slide decks, often sourced from freeimages.com, and I like to use Pixlr to tweak the images a bit - applying filters and lighting effects to take an ordinary stock image and give it my own spin.
Storage
I find Google Drive is really helpful for storing files that I need to access from anywhere anytime, so a lot of my stuff lives there (especially my CV, which is already being updated, and my talk/presentation decks).
