Once, I had a hacker/conceptual artist boyfriend who set me up on Ubuntu systems, and for a while merrily merged as many systems as possible into the fun activist-acceptable software tools.
The huge collection of books, constituting our collection of Agrarian Futurism, lives on LibraryThing and our grange oral histories and intergalactic mix tape (which is on cassette + online).
